BEGGAR

Just now after meeting a satisfied buyer and while messaging to sandy,someone called out to me from my right.

"Excuse me brother, do you have any money to spare me......"

He was an unshaven Muslim man in his 30s.Though unkempt, his clothes were reasonably clean. He didn't look miserable enough to be a beggar.

A straight "NO" was directed at him.

I walked away, and continued typing my sms on my handphone. As I walked away for a distance, I heard someone grumbling something unintelligible in Malay.Even though it wasn't loud, there was a certain tone of displeasure to it.Feeling that it was that man, I turned my head and realised that he had been following me, by then glaring at me with his hateful stare.

Slighty offended, I told him politely that i did not have any money with me.

"WHO THE FUCK DO YOU TAKE ME FOR? ASK YOU FOR MONEY YOU THINK I AM A FUCKING BEGGAR IS IT!!!!" the man yelled, infuriated at my lack of charity towards lowlife bummers like him.This commotion caught the attention of several onlookers,i could feel my blood pressure pumping like a fighter jet.

I rebuked,"So you have a problem with that?"

"I ASK YOU FOR MONEY YOU THINK I AM FUCKING CHEAP IS IT?!! YOU GET OUT!!!" he hollered, deeply antagonized as he walked towards me.

By then he was already too close to me for comfort. Any further verbal engagement with this loonatic proved extremely hazardous, putting myself in the prospect of physical harm. There was no point in quarrelling with a mad man either, nothing good could come out of it. There was no chance that he would turn into Mahatma Ghandi if I persisted in retaliating his verbal abuse.

My last words for him was to send in a resume of himself to JIHAD.They will be most willing to crash a few more planes and rob innocent civilians of their hard-earned cash to feed his subutex addiction.

He continued hurling vulgarities at me as I focused my attention at my handphone.

My beautiful afternoon was just ruined over this incident.And this is not the first time I encountered rude "beggars".A few weeks back, I encountered this obese girl in her teens who seemed slightly autistic asking for $20 to eat lunch(DOES A LUNCH COST A HEFTY $20?) .Thinking that she could lose some weight, I swiftly declined.She shouted "YOU SELFISH !!!" as I walked away from her......

What's with all the beggars nowadays?I thought the government has done a splendid job in catering to the lower end hommies?Lao lee and small dragon lee deserved to be questioned.

I do not detest or look down on beggars. Obviously there are some of us out there who are not as fortunate as the average Singaporean. My sympathies go out to those who are either old and alone or those who are physically handicapped. They have a better excuse to beg. But if you are a healthy able-bodied individual asking me for money on the streets, I'm sorry, I'd rather invest it on a more worthy cause, like my next porn dvd featuring Yua Aida.HAHAHA.

I had seen a case of an 80 year old granny collecting old newspapers and cardboard boxes to generate some income.From the few hundred dollars per month,she manages to feed herself and take care of herself.

When financial aid was given to her,she declined stubbornly despite social workers racking their brains to brainwash her to accept the aid.

The reason she gave was that she could still take care of herself and the money from these charities could be used to help other people who were incapable of working and looking after themselves.If she takes that money, she is depriving another person who may need it more than she does.

If that 80 year old granny can look after herself, why should that freaking bummer ask for money from people on the streets?????Whats worse is that he is rude..... I hope he slips and fall on a used condom and impale himself on a blind man's walking stick......
